Freehold Teen Creates Online Food Drive for Freehold Open Door
Online food drive allows residents to donate to organizations with only the goods they need.
Thanks to an online food drive, a Freehold teenager has made helping out local residents in need even easier than dropping off canned goods. Brendan Gavaghen, 13, is working towards making his confirmation at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church this spring. Part of his requirements before making his confirmation, is to do community service. However, instead of just volunteering his time, Gavaghen thought of a high tech way to help Freehold Open Door fill its shelves with only the products they need.
