Freehold Man Indicted on Cocaine Possession Charge

Resident was in Neptune Township when he was allegedly found in possession of the drug.

A Monmouth County grand jury voted to indict a Freehold man on a sole count of drug possession. Damar Q. Bivins, 21, of Phyliss Road, was indicted on Tuesday, March 26. He is accused of possessing cocaine in Dec. 2012. According to his indictment, Bivins was in Neptune Township when he was found in possession of the drug. Bivins has been indicted on one charge of possessing a controlled dangerous substance. His charge is considered a third-degree crime.

Long Branch Man Indicted on Drug Possession Charge in Freehold

Man was allegedly found in possession of a controlled dangerous substance while in Freehold Township in September.

A Monmouth County grand jury voted to indict a Long Branch man on a sole drug charge following a September arrest. Kenley Miller, 35, of 7th Ave, faces one charge of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. According to his indictment, Miller was found in possession of Benzylpiperazine while in Freehold Township. According to the US National Library of Medicine, Benzylpiperazine is a stimulant that provides a euphoric effect similar to ecstasy. The alleged incident is believed to have taken place on Sept. 14, 2012.

Resident Accused of Eluding Freehold Borough Police

Man allegedly refused to stop for law enforcement while driving.

A Freehold Borough man was arrested Tuesday night after he allegedly attempted to escape from a law enforcement officer. Freehold Borough Police have charged Lionel K. Ramey, 48, of Barkalow Avenue, with eluding law enforcement, resisting arrest and possession of a controlled dangerous substance. According to Ramey’s complaint warrant, he refused to stop for a police car that had sirens and lights flashing. Ramey also allegedly attempted to escape from the officer, by getting out of the car while it was still in drive and then getting back in before being stopped. Once he was stopped by police, Ramey allegedly attempted to resist arrest by trying to get up onto his feet after the law enforcement officer commanded him to get on the ground. …

Monmouth Jail Inmate Faces Drug, Conspiracy Charges

Inmate faces 17 drug-related charges.

A Monmouth County Correctional Institution (MCCI) inmate has been charged with nine counts of conspiracy and eight counts of attempted possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance into the MCCI. On Oct. 26, Long Branch resident Cameron Zuidema, 25, is believed to have conspired with another man to bring Suboxone into MCCI for Zuidema’s use and sale. According to the complaint warrant, Zuidema attempted to possess the Suboxone by having another man mail the drug into the correctional facility. Prior records from the Monmouth County Sheriff’s office show that Zuidema was admitted into the MCCI on Oct. 3. Zuidema now faces an additional $170,000 bail for the 17 charges. His original bail from Oct. 3 was $75,000.

Resident Indicted on Psilocin Possession Charge

A Freehold woman was allegedly found in possession of a drug associated with psychedelic mushrooms.

A Monmouth County grand jury voted to indict a Freehold woman on one count of drug possession after she was allegedly found in possession of psilocin, the main psychoactive compound in psychedelic mushrooms. Cassiano Ellerman, 20, of Adelphia Road, was originally arrested by Freehold Township Police on May 17. According to her indictment, Ellerman was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Ellerman’s indictment was handed down on Thursday, Sept. 20. Her drug possession charge is considered a third-degree crime.

Residents Indicted On Cocaine Possession

Two residents each face one count of possession of a controlled dangerous substance after they allegedly possessed cocaine.

A Monmouth County grand jury indicted two Freehold residents after they were allegedly found in possession of cocaine. Yolanda Wright-Sinclair, 39, of Jackson Street, was indicted on one count of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. According to the indictment, on April 9, Sinclair was allegedly found in possession of cocaine while in Neptune Township. Jonathan Diaz, 30, of Brooklyn Court, also faces one count of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Diaz was allegedly found in possession of cocaine while in Freehold Borough on Jan. 20. Both Sinclair and Diaz were indicted on Tuesday, Sept. 4. Each possession of a controlled dangerous substance charge is considered a third-degree crime.

Area Residents Indicted on Cocaine Possession Charges

Residents each face one count of possessing a controlled dangerous substance.

A Monmouth County grand jury indicted a Freehold resident and two Howell residents on one count of cocaine possession. According to the complaint warrant, Shannon Gregory, 20, of Fort Plains Road in Howell, Junior Reddick, 23, of Roosevelt Avenue in Howell, and Pierre Schandall, 21, of Meadow Brook Lane in Freehold, allegedly possessed cocaine while in Freehold Township on Dec. 30. The three were indicted on Wednesday, Aug. 22. They each face one charge of possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

Freehold and Area Residents Face Drug Charges

Monmouth County grand jury hands down indictments

A Freehold resident and two Howell residents were recently indicted on one charge by a Monmouth County Grand Jury.  Amy E. Labella, 20, of Windeler Rd. in Howell, Jeramie C. Nedza, 31, of East 5th Street in Howell, and Ryan W. Chapman, 31, of Burki Place in Freehold, were indicted on one count of third degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance.  According to the indictment the three were arrested on or about Feb. 7 in Tinton Falls for having cocaine.
