  I think they mean it turned his face red from scalding, and your right our Police force deserves nothing but respect for the work they do. Were very luck to have such great police officers working for us. And you're right on that 2nd count there is a lot more to this story then face value but I'm sure our men in Blue are on the job and on top of it. Personally? I think this is gonna be a bit more then just one count. It's definitely not for me to say but this girl deserves everything she gets! and more......

  ummm Jersey Teapot-Party I don't think a 20 year old is considered a kid by anyone's standards. He will be tried as an adult as far as I know. Freehold PD GREAT Job again!!!

  Cynthia this needs to be made a priority. These kids worked really hard for this. Just that fact in itself needs to be rewarded. They came together as a single unit to accomplish a goal. This is a life lesson not just a concert!!!

  The more I think about this the angrier I actually get! I remember not to long ago when a mural many of these kids worked on was destroyed by ignorant adults! Since when is it the policy of Freehold boro to teach our kids that working together as a unit is a waste of time?? They deserve this concert!!!! They worked HARD for it!!! The person who even mentioned that there is a policy against it should be fired for opening his mouth about information that does not exist. FIRED for not supporting the children he supposedly works for! I think the people responsible, really need to think about what your teaching these kids. A United school effort is a waste of time? That coming together as a group won't accomplish anything? Are we teaching these kids good lessons or are we already stepping on their dreams and in so doing so destroying their spirit, that should be carrying them into their adulthood. Why don't people THINK about the long term affects that little things (or in this case BIG things for these kids) has on children. I think to even consider not giving these kids something they so obviously deserve is even horrible to consider. The people in charge of throwing this wet towel on these children should be ashamed of themselves!!!!!! And P.S. I am a resident of Freehold Boro, But no I have no children in school. If I can feel this way about this? I can imagine how the kids parents actually feel, and I'm really sorry they have to explain this fiasco to their children.

  Jeanine I like your idea. As a kid growing up in Keyport we had a place just for high school kids. They had dances, could have private parties and reasonable hours so that every kid in town could hang out every night of the week and still get home at a decent hour for school the next day. We need something different in this town rather than just another restaurant. Maybe an old fashioned burger and ice cream place with music and internet access. Pool table might not be bad either. But definitely a place for kids ONLY!

  Bob I soo agree with you. I think the redevelopment plan in Freehold is Crucial to Freehold boro. And I do think Red Bank is a good comparison, bigger or not! The reason why they have been so successful. Is because I personally have had my own experience with how stringent their code requirements are, and they are definitely A LOT tougher then Freehold Boro. I just wish Freehold Boro would follow their lead with facade requirements. If they did I think it would make our town look so much more beautiful. Instead of the hap-hazard signage we now have. Which I feel makes this town look poor and almost slum-like
