Because he didn't win this county in eater election, if Sandy had destroyed Camden, Jersey City, Paterson they would have gotten the same perks as Katrina victims, you see we are the worker bees we fix things on our own, we don't sit on an old couch on the porch waiting for others to fix our troubles!

ReplyMany here keep complaining about the D’s and the R’s arranging jobs for people, and we need an end to parties here in town we need an independent, well how long do you think it would be before your independent starts giving out jobs? Where are the workers from Obama’s campain in federal jobs, it’s the way it is we give a lot more money to the feds we should march on Washington.

We here on the shore are not the right demographic to really get Menendez’s’ attention or effort. But we will get the occasional photo op when someone important enough shows up on the shore he will be there with his Howdy Duty grin.

Reply"The Brick Township council this week unanimously supported a resolution urging the federal government to put off flood insurance rate hikes." LOL
And who are they going to address the urging to? Council has a grand fantasy as to their roll nationally. -

ReplyWhy hasn’t any one brought up Toni Mathews, he is now the Housing Authority assistant director with absolutely no credentials for the position , the authority has to pay a director from up north on a part time bases to sign off on all the pertinent official business.

ReplyI can’t understand why all of you complain about what municipal workers get paid, until the patch started publishing all this information how many of you ever went to a council meeting or sent a letter to the editor regarding this subject before the patch?
20 or 30 years ago when most of the people who are now retiring started their municipal jobs and were paid peanuts most had second job to make ends meet, now with a succession of improvements in their contracts which were signed off by the town council are well paying jobs with benefits, and now you are complaining you what to turn back the clock, too bad it not going to happen! You should have been involved!!! -
