@Spooner, go back and read what you have written. You are completely deluded and can't seem to be big enough to admit that you are wrong. That is your problem-- not mine. In one instance you shame on me because I should feel obligated to banter with you over the same issue continually. In the very next instance you tell me to move on. Which is it? You make no sense. So, have a nice Memorial Day....enjoy some BBQ'd Tripe... smoke another spliff! ... but move on because I'm done.

Not to be a stickler for detail, but McVeigh was a mass murderer-- not a serial killer.

@ken, you reference a great song by a great artist. However, "on TV" was on a the solo album "Centerfield" released by John Fogerty in the mid eighties, years after CCR had disbanded. An interesting note is that Fogerty had not released any material for years as the record label he recorded on when the leader of Creedence tied him up litigation because he sounded too much like himself. This crazy world we live in. Rock on!

..."Lastly, the breach by the Mantoloking Bridge was caused by Sandy. That property owners failed to repair damage in the aftermath of the '09 storm and Irene boggles my mind." Well, that doesn't sound like I'm going right over anything, now does it @ Spooner? FOCUS! Do YOUR homework! READ the fine print. I have. Time and time again @ Spooner, you use your political agenda and out of context and picayune tid bits to refute what is clearly obvious. That being that the areas with the better constructed and larger dunes fared better than the areas that did not have them. It is quite apparent that your reason for being here is that you are infatuated with me and are determined to win a argument, facts notwithstanding. I will not discuss this with you further as you refuse to accept reality and your positions are nothing short of lame. I must commend you for going outside the box with the DYFS thing. That was really out there, even for you.

On an unrelated topic, you have yet to answer my questions about the former Wall Superintendent of Schools. I have asked you repeatedly, " Do you think that Dr. Brower should resign and if so would that be a benefit to the school district?" At this point the real question is will you answer or will you dance? Don't step on your own foot again. Comprendo?

@Spooner,,Spooner,Spooner, I must say that you are relentless. However, you are wrong again. The hearing that I assigned to you is not my publication. It is a public record of a Senate hearing that included expert testimony for the subject matter at hand. I wrongfully thought it might help you to have a better understanding of the proposed USACE project. I have read all the print, and much more, and have drawn my own conclusions based on facts-- not a single instance or a political agenda such as you embrace. You state that dunes were not constructed on the barrier islands because "the owners didn't want them". That is not true. SOME owners did not want them. Sandy has proven that inaction to have been foolish. MOST now realize that. In Mantoloking 128 property owners have signed easements, while five remain as "holdouts". I am going to suggest that their reasoning can only be attributed to GREED. As to which perspective I use regarding which dunes worked or did not, I would consider Surf City, Harvey Cedars and North Brant Beach versus South Brant Beach. I would consider Lavalette versus the adjacent northern beaches of Toms River or Mantoloking. Speaking of Mantoloking, you state that,"...their sand loss was not replenished from Irene, they contributed to the breach: millions of gallons of salt water in the bay and peoples homes . . .you completely go right over this. . . FOCUS!". Oh really @Spooner. In the very post that you responded to I stated:
