National Dine Out Day June 19 to Benefit Hurricane Sandy NJ Relief Fund

The Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund is excited to announce its latest fundraising initiative, National Dine Out Day on Wednesday, June 19th.  By dining out at a participating restaurant you can continue to make a positive difference in the lives of New Jersey families and communities still reeling from the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy.   We’ve teamed up with American Express, the Coca Cola Company and over 2,000 restaurants nationwide to make National Dine Out Day a success.  A percentage of the revenue from each of our partner restaurants will be donated to the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund. To date we’ve granted over $11 million to aid in home rebuilding, mold remediation, financial and legal counseling, economic development and social services such as mental health support and food pantry replenishment.

We are also excited to be joined by many well-known celebrities who have signed-up to help promote National Dine Out Day including local rock legend Jon Bon Jovi, Buddy “The Cake Boss” Vallastro, chef Emeril Lagasse, restaurateur David Burke, U2 lead singer Bono, TV Host Anthony Bourdain, the Food Network, Dr. Mehmet Oz, and more.

Thousands of families are still struggling to rebuild their homes and businesses. National Dine Out Day is a great way for people around the country to get out of the kitchen for a night, dine out at a participating restaurant and help those affected here in New Jersey get back on their feet.
